These systems which are manufactured for end customers to support identification, validation, access, monitoring, tracing the information automatically with hardware devices and control the systems online or through mobile. The same devices can also be utilized for payment transactions. Readers are frontend point of payment systems which gather card related information and transfer them to applications like POS, NFC mobile, ATM, dongles and other 3rd party hardware.

In case of POS, ATM – mag-stripe reader and NFC reader (contact and contactless) hardware where a cardholder swipes card or taps (inserts) his smartcard for performing payment related transactions there would also be monitoring of the devices, access control, identification using unique id.
